Fairy tales, cupcakes and balloons

This week Sara and Judit have done really well at their school work and they have both been really enjoying it, a few days this week we have been doing homework for hours at a time with none of us even noticing the time! Sara has been really enjoying a new english book we started last week and is getting through the work in record time and her spelling is vastly improving due to her listening for the sounds the new book teaches her. Judit has been writing stories this week about princess´s, monsters and fairys! She now takes on the story must have a begining, middle and end and with every new one she writes I can see improvement on this. When she has wrote a story, she types it up on the computer as it is very important the girls both learn how to use the word programme and how to write, edit and save documents.

As the girls and Jordi all done so well this week we have had alot of fun, we decided to bake something so the girls looked through different recipes until they choose cupcakes. So we measured out all our ingrediants and mixed it all up and Sara and Judit poured the mixture into the cases while Jordi licked the bowl!

So we measured out all our ingrediants and mixed it all up and Sara and Judit poured the mixture into the cases while Jordi licked the bowl! The cakes turned out great even if the girls went slightly overboard with the icing they still tasted yummy!

Today we also had alot of fun playing with balloons! such a simple, low cost thing that gave Sarah, Judit and Jordi hours of fun and laughter and something no matter the age eveyone got to enjoy together! First we drew silly faces on them, then we filled some with rice to make a pompom ballon which Jordi loved! We also filled some with water and played pass the balloon game and nobody got too wet but loads of laughs.
